A lava lamp

As I sit at my desk and stare at my lava lamp... I realize how much this lamp is telling me... When there is no light everything is the same and so everything is together but when the light comes on and warms everything up they start to seperate. All of the individual lavas just wanting to reach the top... But after they reach the top what do they do? They float back down to where they started, so are the goals of the lava fullfilled or did it fail? Each Lava Bubble is different, some are big while some are just lil specs in the lamp.. but yet each and every bubble is able to change forms to get by an approaching bubble and compromise their path for the other... and every now and then two bubbles combine.... but yet everytime they return to the bottom to where they started... WHY? but what amazes me the most about this is that when the lights are off... every bubble returns to the start and becomes ONE just waiting to have the chance to float to the top of the lamp again and then back......
